Running Experts Europe gain Kaiser Sport & Orthopädie (KSO) as exclusive partner

The Danish running and orthopaedics specialist KSO is now part of the Running Experts Europe network. The partnership comprises seven locations in Denmark. The collaboration will focus in particular on the development of exclusive running speciality products (RSP). 

“We are very pleased to be able to welcome KSO to Running Experts Europe. Our strategies are perfectly aligned as we both focus on providing the best possible expertise in-store. In addition, just like KSO, we only allow the best and often exclusive products to join our range – always with the goal of giving customers the best possible shopping experience,” explains Jörg Seifert, Head of Division Running at SPORT 2000.

KSO will be led by the three owners and partners Jan Steinicke (CEO), Jannich Hammer Marker (COO) and Thomas Christoffersen (CVO), all of them active runners themselves. Each year, 50,000 gait analyses are carried out and 8,000 individual, hand-made, dynamic insoles produced.  The success of KSO is based on a multidimensional strategy, which unites physiotherapy, footwear expertise and business strategy. Since the first store was opened in Copenhagen in 1999, seven other stores have been opened with time, without compromising quality in any way. By 2025, there is set to be 10 KSO stores across Denmark.

“In our stores, running and orthopaedic consultation go hand in hand. Our mission is to provide our customers with a high standard of service and interaction and to treat them with genuine interest. Moreover, having the right atmosphere is hugely important to us to ensure that they feel welcome here and want to spend plenty of time with us,” says Jan Steinicke about KSO’s orientation. For this reason, they only employ suitably qualified, authentic staff with a strong focus on service in their stores.

Jan Steinicke on the reasons for the new collaboration: “With the exclusive Running Experts partnership, KSO wants to get closer to the best running specialists in Europe. We want to share our knowledge and are pleased to have a part in developing the quality of specialist retail in Europe. Together, we are stronger. We are sure that we now have the perfect partner by our side for this.”
